CIRCLE 2020 LINE-UP UNVEILED

The 2020 edition of CIRCLE Women's Docs Accelerator is all set up for the beginning of another creative journey on discovering and releasing all the potentials that selected documentaries and their authors posses. This year it all started with more than one hundred applications from all over the world and it all came down to these eleven exciting, vibrant projects and talented directors from three continents:


A Sad and Vulgar Loner - Efthymia Zymvragaki (Greece)

Becoming Ema - Patricia Drati (Slovakia, Denmark)

Cent’anni - Maja Prelog (Slovenia)

Gina - Sara Stijović (Montenegro)

God is a Woman - Barbara Cunha (Brasil)

Modern Mermaid - Aet Laigu (Estonia)

Tata - Lina Vdovii (Romania)

Twice Colonized - Lin Alluna (Denmark)

XiXi - Fan Wu (Taiwan)

White Lies - Alba Zari (Italy)

Ever Since I Known Myself - Maka Gogaladze (Georgia)


CIRCLE 2020 kick-starts with the first module on June 15 and it will last over series of online sessions up until July 3.


Respected mentors of the Module 01 are Yael Bitton, Paula Vaccaro, Diana El Jeiroudi, Rebecca Day, Giedrė Žickytė, Simona Nobile and Iryna Tsilyk.
