Project Coordinator – CIRCLE Training Initiative

CIRCLE is an international training initiative dedicated to empowering women and gender-expansive filmmakers. We cultivate safe, peer-to-peer learning spaces led by top industry experts.

Since 2018, we have had the privilege of working with 115 filmmakers from 50 countries, supporting their creative and professional growth. CIRCLE is primarily funded by the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme and operates under the patronage of Eurimages.

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of our year-round programmes and activities. If you are passionate about cinema, gender equality, and creative empowerment—and thrive in a dynamic, international environment—we would love to hear from you.

About CIRCLE Programmes & Activities

  • CIRCLE Doc Accelerator (8th edition in 2026): a three-module residency supporting 10 documentary filmmakers.

  • Fiction Orbit: launched in 2023 and returning in autumn 2026 for its third edition, this is an intensive one-week workshop for 5–6 mid-career teams developing a narrative project.

  • New Digital Pilot Workshop (2026): a week-long residency aimed at closing the digital gender gap, supporting 5 teams creating interactive, immersive, or synthetic works (XR, AR, VR, games, and other digital innovations) at the intersection of film and technology.

  • CIRCLE Cannes Showcase: running since 2019, presenting  alumnae works-in-progress to gap funders and festival programmers.

  • Digital Empowerment Workshops: 8 online workshops fostering community, digital literacy, and skill-sharing for alumni and partners.

All workshops are complemented by online sessions and ongoing alumni support.
